Paul Charlier

Paul Charlier has composed music and sound designed for nearly 200 productions across film, television, theatre, dance, physical theatre and radio in Australia and overseas.

His works include the feature films Looking For Alibrandi, Candy and Last Ride, the Sydney Theatre Company’s production of A Streetcar Named Desire, Legs On The Wall’s Honour Bound, Buried Child, Faith Healer and The Lieutenant of Inishmore at Belvoir Street Theatre, Deuce on Broadway and Afterlife at The National Theatre.

More recently he composed the scores for Marrugeku’s Jurrungu Ngan-ga (Straight Talk), Rachel Ward’s documentary Rachel’s Farm, and the theatre productions Prima Facie, RBG: Of Many One, and Gaslight. He was composer for Shark Island’s The Final Quarter, Suzy and the Simple Man and The Comedian and was sound designer and music mixer for Paul Kelly — Stories of Me.
